Apple Pie

4-5 Large Granny Smith Apples(peel/slice)
(or dehydrated apple slices)
Mix 1/2 C granulated sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon together, then stir into the apple slices.
1 Pillsbury crust or make your own dough

Topping:
1/2 C Granulated Sugar
3/4 C Flour
1/3 C Butter
Mix well. Sprinkle over apple slices. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 mins. (If using dehydrated apple slices, check after 30 mins.)

Pie Crust (No Fail, No Kidding)
2-1/2 C Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1-1/2 C Shortening
3/4 C Water

Mix Flour, shortening, & salt until like putty. Add water and 1/2 C more flour. Chill about an hour, roll out onto floured board. You may roll and re-roll and it will be tender and flaky. Note: a total of 3 C of flour are used.
