Apple Chia Granola Bars

1-1/2 C Oats
1 Scoop Chia Seeds
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
(no artificial sweeteners)
1/2 C Shredded Coconut (unsweetened)
1/4 C Organiz Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 C Wheat Germ
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 C Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar
1/3 C Honey
1/2 C Coconut Oil (melted)
1 C Dehydrated Apples (crushed and rehydrated)

Put dry apples in a Ziploc bag and crush with rolling pin. Add plenty of water to rehydrate, then set aside. Mix ingredients in bowl. Melt coconut oil and stir sugar and honey into oil to blend. Pour off water from apples and add to dry ingredients/honey/sugar blend over other ingredients and mix well. Press into greased 8x8 baking pan & bake at 350 for 30 mins. While warm, press gently w/back of spoon, score, cool, then cut all the way through. Make 12 small or 6 large. Serve w/ milk, almond or coconut milk.
